Thank You, Oshawa!
Today, member Owen Matthews and President Peter Dyson were proud to help at the Operation Backpack community supply drive at the North Oshawa Walmart.
Once again, our community showed what itβs all about. Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who stopped by, donated backpacks and school supplies, or simply took the time to support the cause, weβre helping local children head back to school with the tools they need to succeed.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, as well as Simcoe Settlement House, Walmart, and all of the volunteers and community partners who helped make today a success.
Oshawa always steps up when it matters most, and today was no exception. We are proud to serve such a caring and generous community.

The members of the Oshawa Professional Fire Fighters Association, Local 465 are at the North Oshawa Walmart (1471 Harmony Rd. N.) until 1:00 PM today collecting new backpacks and school supplies for local children through Simcoe Settlement House.
Every backpack, notebook, pencil pack, and donation helps ensure local kids have the supplies they need to start the school year with confidence.
If youβre out shopping today, please stop by, say hello, and help us fill the truck! β€οΈ
