Oshawa Firefighters Supports Wounded Warriors Canada
Oshawa Firefighters #IAFF Local 465 were proud to be part of the 2026 Battle of the Badges lacrosse game at Tribute Communities Centre
President Peter Dyson and Executive Assistant Carson Ryan were on hand to present a $2,500 cheque from our Benevolent Fund to Wounded Warriors Canada in support of the important work they do for our veterans and first responders.
President Dyson, along with Chief Barkwell and the Durham Regional Police Chief, also took part in the ceremonial faceoff to kick off the game.
It was a great game of lacrosse as Fire took on Police, with our own member Laskiewicz representing Oshawa on the floor.
